BookPEI/Central Reservation System
Selling PEI tourism products anywhere, anytime ...
The function of the BookPEI/Central Reservation System is to sell PEI tourism products anywhere, anytime through Tourism PEI Vacation Planning Centres (Call Centre), Provincial Visitor Information Centres, and Destination Centres. Visitors can also book rooms and activities online. As we continue to develop the system, participating properties will be featured through online retailers.
Our Spectrum of Services
For 2011 the BookPEI fees will be $100 for 1-4 units per license number and $150 for 5+ units per license number. First Time users of BookPEI get one-year FREE.
There are two ways to participate in BookPEI
- When your property is available for online reservations
- If your property is not available for online reservations
Operators have the right to limit their involvement with BookPEI (for example placing two of five rooms on the system). However, operators cannot adjust their involvement selectively according to season. In other words, the inventory that was offered in the shoulder seasons must also be offered in the peak season.
Tourism PEI is unique in offering one central booking system that can be accessed directly by even the smallest participating partners.
